About LowDoc AU
LowDoc AU is written for self-employed Australians: sole traders, company directors and contractors whose income is real but awkward to evidence. It explains how low doc and alt doc lending is assessed, what evidence lenders actually accept, why applications get declined, and what can be repaired before reapplying.
It is published by the team behind Arrivau, an Australian finance business — stated plainly rather than left for you to discover. This site does not itself originate loans, hold a credit licence or arrange credit, and nothing on it is an offer, an assessment or a recommendation.

- Company directors whose drawings don’t reflect true business cash flow
- Contractors on short-term or project-based engagements
- Expats and non-residents with overseas income
- Property investors who need specialist lenders outside the Big 4

Our Standards
- Disclosure over posturing: the publisher is named above. No lender pays to appear here, and nothing is ordered or ranked for payment.
- Attributed, not asserted: evidence rules and lending criteria differ by lender and change without notice. Where a figure comes from a lender’s own published material it is described as that lender’s, with the date it was read — not restated as a market-wide fact.
- Honest about staleness: a page that has not been rechecked says so through its review date, instead of implying every criterion is current.
Nothing here tells you whether you will be approved. That depends on your full file, and on the policy the lender is running the week you apply.
